This clay works great and is priced reasonably. Consistency of the clay is medium firm. A few how-to sites recommended to use the clay on only sections of the car at a time - i.e. hood after one wash, roof after another - since it is quite intensive work. Once I used the clay on my hood, I was so amazed by it's effectiveness that I had to continue on working on the rest of the car. My car is 10 years old, and the paint was slightly rough to the touch (even with once/twice a month wash & waxing) but is now smooth as glass. It definitely is hard work, but you will be rewarded with an amazingly smooth finish. works4 this product did smooth out my hood pretty well. Not quite the results I expected but it was still a big improvement. Very easy to use/apply etc. Too Small1 The clay bar is just so small! Maybe just large enough to prep 1:15 scale model. Detailing with clay really makes a difference on the final outcome. Peace of mind5 I had to clay en entire car that was never clayed for a couple of years. I was very satisfied with the results this clay bar did. What I liked the most is you get more clay for your buck, which means you can divide it into two or three parts and use it without worry if you drop it you don't have to buy another one. I am definitely using it again.
